WEEKLY WAGES

I was getting my weekly wages garnished, almost to the point that I couldn’t afford to pay my other bills, but I thought that there was nothing that I could do because a friend had told me that there was no protection against money owed for back taxes.  This went on to the point where I thought that I was going to have to start using my credit card to pay for everything, until I consulted with one of the top rated Detroit bankruptcy attorneys.  They say there are only two things in life that you can count on – death and taxes, but I just happily learned from my lawyer that filing for bankruptcy will protect me from, and even discharge, some of my tax obligation.  The bankruptcy won’t clear every penny of what I owe, but it will certainly make things quite a bit more manageable.  If I had consulted a lawyer to begin with, instead of listening to my misinformed friend I’d be in a whole lot better shape financially, in fact I might have been totally out of debt by now.  I guess it’s my own fault for not doing the responsible thing and getting professional advice from the start.  I hope I never get myself into a situation like this again, but if I do I’ll know where to go to get the right advice.
